We are honored to support the critical work being done by each of our Spring 2020 emergency grant recipients.

The JA Community Foundation recently created a COVID 19 emergency grant program to provide immediate financial relief to previous grantees. These organizations faced increased demand and new challenges as they worked to meet the sudden needs of seniors isolated by the pandemic and adapt their programs to current safety requirements. We awarded nine emergency grants to groups who provide essential services such as meal programs, senior caregiving and other life/safety senior services.
The community-based organizations we provided with immediate funding are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, Central Valley, Los Angeles and Long Beach. We recognize the challenges and funding shortages that come with these unusual circumstances and are proud to support these organizations and offer our assistance. We appreciate the critical work being done in the community by each one of our grant recipients.
The following 9 organizations received emergency grants:
ACC Senior Services
Central California Nikkei Foundation
East San Gabriel Valley JCC
Eden Township JCC
Little Tokyo Service Center
Long Beach JCC
